I\'ve been deeply involved in the electric power industry for over twenty years, starting my career as a field engineer and working my way up to my current position as Director of Overall Engineering Management for renewable energy projects. During my more than 20 years at Duke Energy, I participated in and led large-scale transmission and distribution projects, gaining extensive practical experience in everything from technical design and construction management to the implementation of green energy strategies. This experience not only familiarized me with every aspect of the power system but also broadened my perspective from project execution to the broader energy transition. Currently at NextEra Energy, my focus is on promoting the adoption of smart grid and energy storage technologies, developing technical standards and processes, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of renewable energy project delivery.
