About Sean Hansen

I am a finance major at the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business where I plan to earn my bachelor of science degree in December of 2026. I am an active member of the Wealth Management & Investing Club, Outdoor Industry Club, Utah Cycling Club, and the Business Scholars Program. I have acquired skills in Excel, accounting, data analytics, communication, teamwork, and time management. I am actively seeking a summer 2026 internship in Finance. I had my first finance internship in the summer of 2025 with Banyan Growth Partners in Salt Lake City, UT. Previously, I was a Retail Associate at Columbia Sportswear Company in Park City, UT. These opportunities taught me how customer service and sales go hand-in-hand, and that success comes from identifying the client\'s needs and making appropriate recommendations. I am originally from Los Angeles, CA, and have enjoyed the University of Utah, where I get to indulge in my passions of skiing, mountain biking, and hiking in the mountains. I have traveled throughout Central America, but I look forward to exploring the cultures in Europe one day soon. When I’m not at work or school, you can find me at the gym lifting weights or exploring the great outdoors.
