About Sean Ochiagha

A determined and motivated rising third year medical student at the University of Toledo College of Medicine who is open-minded and always tries to experience new things. My interests include Fitness/Sports, Education, and Entrepreneurship, as I want to become a physician while owning a business and teaching/mentoring younger students. Recently, I was a Medical Assistant at CardioPulmonary Diagnostic, where I recorded notes for patients in stress tests, used a doppler ultrasound for ABI tests, and drew blood from patients depending on the stress tests. In addition, I was a Research Assistant at the Child Health Institute of NJ, where I quantified 100 images of beta-proliferating cells daily using FIJI imaging in Excel. The purpose is to find hints on therapies for treating diabetes. Also, I was the Co-Treasurer for the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students. I maintained the SABO account with an annual budget and made 20 transactions each year with other organizations. Within the past two years, I found an interest in tutoring, and I volunteer at COVE, where I am a math tutor. And I make 20 lessons per semester to simplify the concepts for students and apply the concepts through practice. Finally, I volunteered at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital as a patient transporter in the medical field, where I transported ten patients to their desired locations each day. Some of my technical skills include using Microsoft Office, taking physical exams, measuring vitals, scheduling appointments, and organizing patient charts.
