As a member of the Merchandising Society at FIT NYC, I must volunteer at least one hour of my week working as a store associate for the Style Shop. The Style Shop is a brick and mortar shop located on FIT\'s campus run entirely by students. I am excited to strengthen my skills in the retail field through the real world experiences I will discover through my time with the Style Shop.

ABOUT SEAN NICHOLS
As a Fashion Merchandising student at SUNY Oneonta, I am passionate about creativity and learning all about the industry. Between my coursework and involvement with clubs such as the Student Fashion Society and Revival of Apparel Club, I have began shaping a well rounded portfolio of skills for the industry setting. Additionally, I have been working or have worked in positions such as a night host, a dragon guide, and a tour guide while studying at SUNY Oneonta demonstrating and developing my communication, organization, and morale skills. In my roles, I have supported the campus community, the new and prospective students, and their families, by providing them with helpful information, guidance, and hospitality. I have also contributed to the development and improvement of the programs and services offered by the university, by giving feedback and suggestions, and participating in training and events. I enjoy working with my team and collaborating with other departments and organizations, as I believe that we can achieve more together. I am eager to learn new skills and gain new perspectives, and I am always open to new challenges and opportunities.
