As a security consultant, I am a frontline defender on the digital battleground leading in the development and growth of our threat hunting capability. The main aspect of my work involves the proactive search for threats on client environments using a range of SIEM and EDR tools (Sentinel, Splunk, Defender for Endpoint, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike). However, I also support broader practices including incident response, security monitoring, and vulnerability management.The foundation of my analytical skills was built in my 4 years as a fraud and intelligence analyst in the investigations industry. Translating this analytical mindset to the cyber world has allowed me to find my home and follow my passion. There is a great sense satisfaction in interrogating data, unpacking an incident and providing a simplified evaluation of remediation.Outside of cyber operations, I strive to learn - whether it be experimenting with scripting languages, pursuing certifications, taking part in virtual labs, or practicing my lingual skills
