1. Subsea Engineer

   Took the ROWAN RELIANCE, a Hyundai Heavy Industries new build Drill Ship, through the maiden voyage and into drilling operations in the GOM. During which time I performed all of the typical duties of a Subsea Engineer and assisted the Senior in planning and getting both of the Cameron TL BOPs equipped with Hydril Annular Preventers and all related surface equipment operational. In addition I performed the following:• Performed pressure testing of Subsea BOP & Surface Systems, and Between Well Maintenance along with preventative and corrective maintenance of the following: Wireline Tensioners, HP Air Skids, HP Air Compressors, Nitrogen Generator, APVs, C/K Manifold, Diverter, Diverter Control Unit, Gantry Cranes, BOP Transporters, HPUs, Fluid Treatment and Mixing Systems, and many more supporting systems/equipment which is maintained by the Subsea Department• Aided in the Deep Water Acceptance Testing of the BOP and getting the rig onto contract, after which I worked the rig during Drilling Operations regularly aiding with Well Control• Conducted Weekly BOP Function and Diverter Tests• Worked on the Acoustic System Removal Project and AMF Removal Project, as well as BSR Bonnet Replacement• Completed WHC Rebuild for both Stacks: Rebuilt both Vetco Gray WHCs with new GE Upgrade Kits
