About Sean McMahon
My interest in construction and engineering led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management at the University of Washington, where I graduated in the Spring of 2018. I had relevant internship experience with Performance Contracting in the Summer of 2016 where I worked on a variety of projects. I worked with a project management team overseeing a high-rise being constructed in downtown Seattle, as well as with a team building a furniture store in Seattle University District\'s \"University Village\". I interned the following summer of 2017 as a field engineer with Kiewit in Southern California, where I worked on the SoFi Stadium project in a precast concrete yard helping oversee concrete column construction. Since graduating UW in Spring of 2018, I have worked as a project engineer with Turner Construction in the Seattle area. I have worked in the estimating department performing quantity takeoffs, and have worked on site managing trade partners. I enjoy the technical aspects of analyzing construction documents and drawings, as well as managing projects and interacting with vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and owners on the job.
