ABOUT SEAN LOCKHART

I have worked as an electrical engineer for 20 years in the oil, gas, water and wastewater industries. My exposure to facility design and operations is extensive, having been exposed to P & ID development, HAZOPs, estimates, full electrical/controls/instrumentation work packages (creation, peer review and senior reviews), construction support, narrative development (all levels), working as a commissioning agent for facilities, and providing controls programming services, facility optimizations, maintenance procedures, root cause investigations, and personnel management. I lead and provide support to business development efforts and proposal preparation. I am identified as both a Project Manager and Project Technical Lead for our sector, and regularly operate in these roles. My role at Stantec is \"Chief Engineer\" for the I&C discipline. I have previously operated as the Business Centre Discipline Leader for the Water group in British Columbia, responsible for ensuring that Stantec\'s technical standards are followed by our multi-disciplinary team of 100 employees sitting in four offices across BC. I am also the Engineering Discipline Leader for Electrical (BC, Southern Alberta) and Instrumentation & Controls (Western Canada); in these role I communicate with the Chief Engineer(s) to maintain compliance and balance workloads throughout our Water team and report to the Delivery Lead of Stantec. I enjoy physical work conditions and stressful environments. I am a responsible employee that has strong leadership and communication skills.
