Sean’s career started at an early age as a sea-going Cadet in a family-owned marine business. Since that time, he has worked in various roles, including founding multiple start-up companies and managing the marine division of a large privately-owned corporation. Sean’s current business interests are focused on developing companies dedicated to innovation & Canadian expansion in the Blue Economy, solutions to advance the renewable energy industry in Canada, and playing a key role in the emerging Canadian Arctic sovereignty and security situation. He is involved in several joint-venture companies with Indigenous communities and international partners. Sean serves on various corporate boards that govern Horizon Atlantic Capital’s investments, and he supports various community and industry organizations, including being a Member of the Memorial University Marine Industry Advisory Board, and an avid supporter of local charities. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Western University.
