ABOUT SEAN L.
From clearing bombs to clearing up misconceptions about cyber security in the corporate world, my journey\'s been anything but ordinary. After years in the military and private military sector, I’ve swapped the kit bag for a keyboard. I now lead Cyber Security Culture and Awareness at UK Power Networks, focusing on making cyber security human, relatable, and impossible to ignore. No jargon, no scare tactics, just real talk that sticks. I build content, campaigns, and training that actually get people to care, because when people understand the ‘why’, they change how they behave. From phishing simulations and deepfake awareness to secure-your-family packs and escape rooms, I turn dry policies into something people want to engage with. Outside of cyber, I wrote a book called Barrie, about a stray pup I rescued from the rubble in Syria. That story helped me through navigating my re-entry into civilian life and ended up helping a lot of others too. Proud dad, partner, and advocate for making both online and offline spaces safer.
