ABOUT SEAN KELLY
I am a quantitative education researcher whose background features eight years of applied K-12 research experience focused on increasing access to education and improving student learning. I have led statistical analyses for more than 20 studies of reading and math across more than 10 low- and middle-income countries, contributed to the development of the Global Proficiency Framework and policy linking method, and managed mixed-methods research studies that produced insights and guidance for setting targets in education, outcome indicators for measuring proficiency in reading and math, financing education, reading assessments (i.e, EGRA), and Universal Design for Learning- I co-design research that meets the needs of clients and end users; then I build and lead teams to iteratively deliver research products that meet specifications and timelines- I conduct the full spectrum of quantitative methods from design through reporting for efficacy (experimental and quasi-experimental designs) and correlational studies.
