About Sean Keegan

I am a Senior Principal Scientist with vast experience in Immunology target discovery, validation, and pharmacology related systems. Over 20 years, I have built wealth of experience in immunoregulation, immunotoxicology, and mouse models of immune-oncology and autoimmunity. My primary focus has been in using and/or developing animal models of disease to answer immune related questions. To that end, I have personally developed/executed mouse models of; lupus, tolerance induction, Hemophilia A/B, adoptive cell transfer models, immuno-oncology as well as developing an animal model from the ground up on an as needed basis. I have developed and validated methods and procedures to evaluate the efficacy and pharmacology of small, large, cellular, and complexed therapeutics while assessing their impact on PK/PD responses through drug and immune characterization. I am experienced in culture and stimulation of immune cells from multiple species (human, monkey, mouse, rat) for cell function, phenotype, and biomarker analysis. I have experience building out Flow cytometry core functions as well as externalizing assays and/or studies to achieve higher productivity. Some of my core specialties are as follows; Flow Cytometry, Pharmacology, Immunology, Autoimmunity, Lupus, Tolerance, In Vivo Pharmacology, Hemophilia A, Immuno-oncology, humanized and/or human models.
