Continued as company lead in offshore wind related work, covering both business development and project delivery.Key roles include:Named the US Principal Representative on the PIANC MarCom Working Group 269 on Design Guidelines for Offshore Wind Ports.Served on panels at OSW Conferences covering Floating Port Design, Port Funding, and Design Standards.Engineering Manager for the detailed design of the New London State Pier project in Connecticut, converting an existing bulk terminal into an offshore wind (OSW) staging port.Signed the contract to convert PMT into an OSW marshalling port. Served as PM and Engineer of Record for the project, which is the largest offshore wind port in the US.Continued supporting Dominion in the operations at PMT, which served as marshalling port for the construction of Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW), anticipated to be the largest single offshore wind farm in the world upon completion. Supported Dominion in the design of the marine works for their Operations & Maintenance (O&M) facility for CVOW. Submitting permits and serving as PM and EOR for the floating pier and fendering replacement in support of the Offshore Wind Vessels.Completed three PIDP grant applications for PMT, Fairwinds Landing and Tradepoint Atlantic\'s facilities. Tasks completed for the PIDP applications included the Concept Plans, Cost Estimates, and BCA Appendix. The PIDP was awarded to PMT for $20 million, the Norfolk Economic Development Authority for $39 million and Baltimore County for $41 million.PM and EOR for the planning, design, and permitting of the Fairwinds Landing multi-use heavy lift facility, converting an old bulk facility into a modern heavy lift port facility. Project includes new steel sheet pile walls, concrete pile supported platforms, and dredging.Cost EstimatingCompleted CSRAs for waterfront Navy Projects in Norfolk, Hawaii, and Guam, moderating the risk workshops, completing the models, and developed the CSRA reports.
