About Sean White

I am currently an Electrical & Controls engineer working in the Food & Consumer Products industry where I’m responsible for building & equipment, Electrical service, and low voltage instrumentation for industrial equipment. I have experience in working on substation projects for utilities in the Northeast. These projects are focused on relay replacements replacing older systems. I have 2 years of experience in the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Construction industry as an instrument and controls engineer. I graduated the University of Houston with honors, Cum Laude, in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Power & Renewable Energy.I was also the Region 5 Houston Section volunteer serving as the Houston Section Student Branch Coordinator from 2019 until 2020. I have a passion for encouraging and motivating others to pursue education and advancing their skills. I like to work with student organizations at the university level to motivate and educate their class body about the wonders of technology and how it all comes together in so many different industries.I also enjoy learning about history as a hobby. My favorite sports teams- Football: Eagles and the Broncos- Baseball: Astro’s and the Phillies.
