In working with Cisco Virtual Teams to influence technology direction and decisions within our Business Units, utilizing customer experiences and feedback for improvements directly with the BU Engineering groups. Leads effort to design large scale Service Provider and Enterprise networks supporting network mergers for major business acquisitions with both new and existing customers. Responsible for design and testing of BGP and EVPN/AVPN infrastructure for global enterprise WAN connectivity, while resolving complex routing problems in the Wide Area Network over an MPLS Core utilizing Cisco ASR, GSR, 7600, 7200 and ISR-G1/G2/4K Edge routing platforms. Development and Proof of Concept testing of routing policies in lab environments with Pagent TGN and IOS on Linux (IOL) and IOS-XR to simulate customer routing environments. This in turn helps to proactively ensure compatibility among hardware, software, and features. Support for end-to-end WAN/LAN network Quality of Service in support of VoIP and Video implementations, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 Campus Switching designs utilizing Catalyst 6500\'s, Nexus and workgroup access switches utilizing 3750 stacking technology. NX-OS Nexus Data Center Switching for N7K/5K platforms with OTV, FCoE, VPC, Fabric Path, and distributed technologies utilizing series fabric extenders. Provides focused root cause isolation and troubleshooting in support of large Service Provider networks in NA, LAAM, EMEA and AsiaPac for WAN Cores and Campus Data Centers. Software Strategy support utilizing proactive bug scrubs and software recommendations, allowing customers to run the most stable and secure code possible for a given set of hardware and software feature requirements. Provides configuration peer reviews based on Cisco recommended practices, to minimize disruption to the network infrastructure during deployment, and to reduce the risk when making changes to their existing network infrastructure. Multicast design and deployment with MSDP, PIM-SM and auto-rp over MBGP MPLS core for campus Video and DMS.
