About Sean Gantka

Producer for Animation. I am passionate about animation and love working with fun, diverse, and creative people in order to make beautiful, unique, and entertaining stories for our audience. I spent the 11 years working my way up through the ranks at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio.I began as an intern for Live Action Development and Current Series, but quickly found my home in the world of animation.I worked on The Legend of Korra; holding multiple positions over 3 and a half years: Executive Assistant, Production Assistant, Production Coordinator, Script Coordinator, Storyboard Coordinator and Design Coordinator. I was promoted to Production Manager to finish the final season. I then moved over as Production Manager on The Loud House until my promotion to Associate Producer. When the spin-off, The Casagrandes, went into production and I served as the Associate Producer on both shows as well as Producer for a series of shorts for those properties.After Nickelodeon I spent 9 months at Bento Box Entertainment working on an unannounced kids show for Apple+. I was brought in to help fix, run, and oversee the design department and was then asked to stay on and establish the in-house retake animation team.Currently, I am Producing a hush-hush unannounced animated series fir a major studio. I oversee the schedule and budget, work with show creative leadership to assemble and manage the crew and production of the show, partner with and manage vendors all over the world who contribute to our project, and interface with the studio on a regular basis to address their vision and needs; all to make sure that we make the strongest show we can.
