I am a passionate storyteller and communications professional with 10+ years of experience in network news. Now I work with some of the biggest companies in the world to help tell their stories and share their impact. As a Vice President at Burson, I am currently leading multiple teams for clients that include Ford Pro, NRG Energy, The Veteran’s Collective, and Accenture. This client work includes, but is not limited to, earned media, paid media, communications strategy both internal and external, customer storytelling, executive consulting, thought leadership, and community engagement/coalition building. What I enjoy most is that we are constantly developing and adapting strategic integrated communications based on internal goals and announcements but also the daily (and often hourly) news cycle. Consistent engagement with journalists and producers at top-tier outlets – both domestically and internationally – to secure client placements including Good Morning America, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Independent (UK), BBC, Sky News, ABC News, CNN, CBS News, CBSN, Fox News, NBC News, travel and leisure outlets as well as outlets in multiple top 10 DMAs. Engaged with junior staff daily on client deliverables and strategic communication skills, mentoring and offering feedback for professional growth and advancement. In my previous role(s) with CBS News I produced and shot high-level visual content in a truthful and informative way during the most significant news events of this decade; experiencing the extremes of the human condition through a camera lens and notebook.
