Senior Manager in the Student Union directing the Events & Marketing departments and our commercial activity as well as being responsible for all health & safety matters within the organisation. Together with the CEO and other members of SLT, I am responsible for setting the direction of the SU and how we operate.In this role I work with numerous university departments to enhance the student experience on campus through promoting the services and support we offer as a students\' union. I sit on several senior boards and panels, including health & safety, commercial, security and events, to discuss and determine the direction and operation of important aspects of the university.A major part of this role is overseeing our diverse events programme designed to help students socialise and meet their peers as well as giving them an insight into different aspects of university life that can help them with their academic interests. On top of this, we employ almost 100 student staff and support them with their skill development and future employability.
