   Senior executive overseeing the independent internal audit function for the world\'s premier development organization, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Oversee a global portfolio with staff based in UN HQ (New York) and five regional audit centers, providing assurance and advisory across the breadth of UNDP business and operations. Developing and delivering on a risk-based audit plan, ensure organizational integrity, effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance across 170 countries and 20k+ employees. Successfully delivered on annual risk-based workplan, covering 50% of UNDP\'s expend and meeting or exceeding KPIs for workplan completion and implementation of recommendations. Set organizational vision and direction for the global audit function, rhythm of business, and practical activities to maximize early wins, increasing staff morale, output, and customer demand for assurance and advisory services. Developed implemented strategy to fully engage internal and external stakeholders, leading to positive and impactful changes to product lines and increased satisfaction on users of end-users of advisory and assurance portfolio, including donors, oversight boards, and customers.
