About Sean Daneshmand
I have been a practicing maternal-fetal medicine specialist since 2002 in San Diego, CA, and currently serve as the Medical Director for the Division of Perinatology at Scripps Clinic/Health. In 2010, I founded Miracle Babies, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families with critically ill newborns. We provide transportation assistance to families needing access to Neonatal Intensive Care Units or appointments for babies with congenital abnormalities. Additionally, the organization\'s My Brain and My Baby program offers maternal mental health therapy for women experiencing complicated pregnancies.Beyond my medical work, I serve on the board of the San Diego Harbor Police Foundation, contributing to initiatives such as:Officer Wellness – promoting health and well-being for law enforcement officers.Human Trafficking Education – raising awareness and providing resources to combat human trafficking.Community Service – supporting after-school mentorship for underserved students, including a program called Teachers RUL (Respect, Unity, Love) and Read with a cop, which aims to build confidence and self-esteem in a local school where 35% of students face homelessness.I am also the founder and Medical Director of a medical spa in San Diego, established in 2005, offering minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. Since 2018, I have been a co-founder of A+B Clinical Research, conducting women’s health research studies to advance care and treatment for diverse patient populations.
