ABOUT SEAN CURRAN

Starting as a joiner, I have worked my way through the ranks of Site and Senior Management collecting a multitude of experience and knowledge. I am a very ambitious and driven Construction Professional, with over 20 years experience at Management level. Taking the position of Construction Director in 2017, and promoted to Operations Director in 2022 to hold a strategic position, leading our nationwide teams across our Delivery function, to fulfil expanding pipeline, ensuring we maintain our high standards of safety & quality and as always, delivery on time. Most recently I have gained promotion to Head of Construction delivery and design, reporting in to our Exec level MD, I am responsible for all construction activity group wide, and head up our design function as we navigate new territory with the Building Safety Act.Liaising with current clients to manage our relationships, working with our Divestment and investment hubs to expand our pipeline with new clients, whilst working closely with our internal departments such as Learning & Development, HR and talent acquisition to constantly develop our staff, and bring the best talent to the business.Primary Management background has been in the Residential sector, however through the growth of Watkin Jones, over the past 16+ years I have overseen many large scale projects, comprising of multi use Student Accommodation schemes, BTR, Commercial, Artists Studios, bespoke offices and large high rise apartment blocks.Multifaceted experience, dealing with individual customers, to key Stakeholders on projects between 3m to 200m +
