I\'m a Sports Communication student at Marist University with hands-on experience in officiating, guest services, mentoring, and youth sports engagement. Through roles as a basketball referee, pro shop associate, resort ambassador, and peer mentor, I\'ve developed strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills, all fueled by a passion for sports and how they impact individuals, teams, and communities.I\'m especially interested in how sports are communicated to the broader public and how this shapes perception, behavior, and policy. Topics such as NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness), the growing influence of sports gambling, and the evolving role of public relations in athletics deeply interest me. I’m eager to explore how these areas intersect with athlete branding, fan engagement, and media narratives.I\'m currently seeking a Summer 2026 internship to expand my knowledge, gain professional experience, and contribute to a dynamic organization in the sports industry, whether in communications, public relations, media, or athlete representation. I\'m ready to learn, collaborate, and bring energy, professionalism, and a growth mindset to every opportunity.

   Provide year-round guest service and safety oversight across various outdoor resort environments, including ski slopes, mountain bike trails, and waterpark attractions- Monitor guest activity to ensure adherence to safety protocols and resort policies, intervening and reporting as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment- Serve as a visible, approachable resource for guests, offering guidance, directions, and support to enhance the overall visitor experience- Assist in managing guest flow during peak periods, helping with line control, crowd management, and operational safety at lift lines, ride queues, and trailheads- Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g, lift operations, waterpark, bike park, safety patrol) to uphold resort standards and respond to guest concerns- Attend seasonal training sessions to stay updated on safety procedures, operational changes, and resort updates- Adapt quickly to changing conditions (weather, guest volume, special events) maintaining professionalism and a strong service-oriented attitude in all scenarios.
