My role as SysOps / Infrastructure is to manage the production systems and operations by designing a scaleable and fault tolerant cloud architecture. This includes working with the software development team to ensure feedback on performance and recommend potential optimization techniques. It also includes the management of the tools the team use to automate the build and deployment process including BitBucket, Jenkins, Jira, APT/Repo, Chef, Opsworks, Amazon AWS, AWS Cloudfront, HashiCorp Terraform, ansible, Cloudflare, Kubernetes, Istio, and numerous other emerging Technologies.
