After 25 years of working with some of the best sports teams & corporations in the world, I have discovered a simple framework & effective process for achieving sustainable high performance that has been successful across multiple sports and a wide variety of businesses. A FEW KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Coach Advisor to PETE CARROLL & mental performance coach for the USC FOOTBALL TEAM (20••••10) resulting in 2 NCAA National Championships & 3 Heisman Trophy winners. Player Development Consultant for the NEW YORK YANKEES (20••••12) working with 35 coaches resulting in the team moving from #23 to #1 in one year; staying in the top 5 for 12 years. SVP of Operations, Mark Newman, called the results, “Nothing short of extraordinary.” Leadership Coach for senior leadership team of DAVE & BUSTER’S (20••••17), resulting in 30% inc. in sales performance, 22% inc. in employee engagement/retention, & 50% inc. in stock price. GE Coach and Consultant: Successfully coached 45 senior leaders in 2006 and 20 senior leaders in 2015, leading to improvement in coaching skills, employee engagement, and in several cases, all-time performance highs for leaders’ teams. Each athlete, leader, & organization is different, so the solution to achieving higher levels of performance is tailor-made based on unique circumstances. However, the process typically involves making specific changes in focus, mindset, emotional resilience, communication styles & collaborative teamwork behaviors. I owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to Tim Gallwey, author of “The Inner Game” series of books, who mentored me from Tim helped me better understand the correlation between how people learn naturally – and the myriad ways we get in the way of our own success.
