As a partner in Nixon Peabody\'s Complex Disputes practice, I represent corporations and individuals facing their most consequential legal challenges. My practice spans complex commercial disputes, securities fraud, antitrust matters, government investigations, and white collar criminal defense in federal and state courts and arbitrations nationwide. On the civil side, I handle high-stakes matters including corporate governance, shareholder litigation, RICO claims, trade secrets, and complex contract cases. I also devote significant time to guiding companies through internal investigations and defending clients in white collar matters such as healthcare fraud, False Claims Act actions, export control, and anti-money laundering, along with the parallel civil and regulatory proceedings that often follow. What I find most rewarding is helping clients manage uncertainty. Whether defending against aggressive enforcement, conducting a sensitive internal investigation, or preparing a case for trial, I focus on practical solutions and clear-eyed assessments of risk.
