About Sean Baird
Currently Sean leads the Colliers International Student Housing Group that focuses on brokerage and capital stack formation including both debt and equity. Since becoming involved in student housing at the beginning of 2010 Sean has taken part in more than $2 billion of student housing transactions. Originally hired as an analyst, Sean quickly grew his brokerage practice by building out the private capital and family office investment platform with the student housing group. In 2018 Sean partnered with Jonathan Holt to continue building out the student housing team by adding capital market verticals to their brokerage practice. Sean graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Professional Master of Science in Real Estate and a BS/BA in Business Real Estate. Additionally, he attended Seminole State College where he received an AA, an AS in Architectural Design and Construction Technology, and also became a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician. His background includes working for a developer building high end custom homes and later a small construction firm in Orlando focusing on both residential and commercial development and renovation where he was a site supervisor while attending college.
