Responsible for reducing costs and improving margins through the development of organisational capabilities. Also acting as the focal point for customer liaison & promoting client / supplier relations. Provide support to customers, sales and the factory to include product information, sales tools (Astra) and project planning through the factory.Duties• Provide accurate management information to Plant Manager with regards to project profit margins, shipping forecast and production capacities.• Provide total client support in processing of orders from receipt through to obtaining design approval, successful manufacture, delivery, testing and after market support.• Strive to improve project profit margins through assisting with unit selection and engineering solutions.• Act as liaison between customers and other departments.• Develops and determine priorities and monitors status of special projects on an ongoing basis.• Identifying project risks and planning with appropriate people to resolve them.• Maintaining customer relationship to achieve long-term retention & satisfaction.• Actively promote a teamwork philosophy with all other related departments to create effective and efficient processes.• Maintains a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide good customer service.• Carry out design, calculations and costing to customer specifications.• Complete ownership of the sales selection software.• Management of two senior project engineers and one project engineer.
