About Seamus Cannon
I am currently a sophomore finance student at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business with a planned graduation of Spring 2024. I am also enrolled in the Accelerated Business/Pre-Law Program through Saint Louis University’s Law School, and plan on completing this program by Spring of 2027. Since leaving high school, I have had various roles in the Supply-Chain Industry including two different warehouse positions, CTDI & UPS, as well as almost a year of being an Intermodal Gate Inspector at ITS ConGlobal. I also held an Intermodal Logistics Coordinator position in the Operations Department at Alliance Shippers Inc.(3PL) for 10 months and learned valuable skills such as communication (both written and verbal), networking, and organization. Before working at ITS ConGlobal, I briefly attended Lewis University in Romeoville, IL, and then left Lewis in pursuance of joining the US Navy. Before shipping off I held my position at ITS ConGlobal, and then departed for Boot Camp. Due to medical reasons, my time in the Navy was cut short, and upon return I started with Alliance Shippers. I now currently work seasonally in CTDI- Joliet Supercenter in their Receiving and WIP departments. I also hold a positions at the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Buisness in the Technology Service Center/ Data Analytics Lab, and at Pius Library\'s AskSLU Service Desk while at school. These skills, and the experience, gained through my time at Alliance, as well as my previous Supply-Chain/Logistics experience, have led me to pursue a position in Law focused on Finance. As mentioned above, I am currently only a Sophomore Finance Student, but with my past work and life experience, would definitely be open to internship positions in Finance or Law related fields.
