Seamus is a Director and the Strategic Execution Lead for Capital Markets at Truist Securities, where he works directly with the Heads of Capital Markets (DCM, ECM, and Leveraged Finance) and Truist Securities Executive Leadership. In this role, he acts in a chief of staff/COO capacity to drive strategic initiatives and lead transformational change across Capital Markets businesses. He manages upwards of 8–10 high-impact programs and projects at a time, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and delivering measurable outcomes.With a background in Technology Strategy & Management Consulting, Seamus has extensive experience in the Financial Services industry across the U.S. and Ireland. He holds multiple certifications, including- Management: PMP & CAPM certified-Cloud: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner-Agile: Former SAFe SA & SDP certifications-Analytics & AI: Executive Education Certificate from Northwestern University-Banking & Capital Markets: Series 7 and Series 99 licensesOutside of work, Seamus is an active volunteer and public speaker. He served as President of a Toastmasters non-profit organization in 2022, as Area Director overseeing five franchise clubs in 2023, and as Division Director managing 20+ clubs in 2024 and most recently achieved his Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation.
