About Seamus Lee Henry
I am a fourth-year student at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business at Rose Hill. After attending The Bronx High School of Science, I developed an interest in business with a specific focus in finance. I am particularly interested in security analysis and investment banking, two areas which I am developing through my courses at the Gabelli School of Business. Part of the reason I have decided to stay in New York City is due to its proximity to the financial services industry as well as staying close to my family. I\'m looking to improve my quantitative skills while continuing to push myself to learn as much as I can in these formative years of my undergraduate career. I am always looking to find new opportunities to work, learn, and grow to be able to meet the standard and values of any firm I might find myself in. I was able to get a view of the buy side of the financial industry through an internship at Gabelli Funds in Rye, New York. Through working hands on with the various teams within the firm I gained valuable experience and insight such as building financial models, valuating different companies, and sitting in on the in-house trading floor.
