About Seamas X. Ohara
Hi, I’m Seamas O’Hara. I recently graduated from Georgetown’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where I majored in Global Business.I’m an Analyst in Industrials Coverage at Deutsche Bank in New York, where I cover industrial clients, including energy and chemicals, and partner with product teams on a range of strategic and financial solutions. I previously spent the summer of 2024 at Deutsche Bank as a Summer Analyst, working on fintech-related solutions for large corporate clients. Before that, in 2023, I interned at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in the Federal Reserve Financial Services group.During undergrad, I spent a semester abroad in full French immersion at Sciences Po in Strasbourg and completed coursework in corporate and securities law at the London School of Economics.On campus in D.C, I was involved with Georgetown Collegiate Investors, where we analyzed public equities through fundamental research and financial modeling. I also played center for the Georgetown University hockey team (Division II, ACCHL). I’ve been on the ice since age six.I grew up near Chicago and later moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where the surrounding mountains and national parks sparked a lasting respect for nature and our environment. At home, we spoke English, French, and Romanian, thanks in part to my mother’s upbringing in post-Communist Romania. Our family has traveled extensively, deepening my interest in global cultures, languages, and international finance.And yes, I did have a fun run as a child model and actor.
