ABOUT SHAUN EVERITT
I have a time served, multi-skilled operational background from within the Oil & Gas industry. I currently work for Ithaca ( business collaboration from Eni/Nepptune Energy) on the Cygnus Alpha Platform as Production Supervisor/Deputy OIM and NUI OIM for Cygnus Bravo. On completion of successful HUC and 1st gas of Alpha, followed by a subsequent success on the Bravo, we are operating and exporting from the Alpha and Bravo platforms in the largest gas development in the Southern North Sea for 25 years.After successfully completing my apprenticeship, I completed the field operations positions to become a Control Room Operator (CRO). I further developed my skills, knowledge, experience and competencies in Production Operations with TOTAL Energies (formerly TOTAL UK E&P), on the 3rd largest refinery in Europe, Lindsey Oil Refinery, then subsequently offshore as Lead Production Technician at the LOGGS platform in the Southern North Sea.I am a motivated team worker with interest in all aspects of upstream and downstream operations. I enjoy undertaking pre-commissioning, commissioning and project work alongside my required responsibilities and duties. Outside of my offshore working environment, I am also a director of a not for profit organisation.I have an excellent technical understanding of oil & gas operations and associated plant and equipment. I understand HSG 253 isolations compliance, procedure writing/review and safe systems compliance. Beyond daily routines and core skills, I have knowledge and experience in power generation and compression, first line maintenance, planned/unplanned shutdowns and turnaround & inspections (T&I\'s). I also have extensive experience as Deputy OIM, Area Authority, Issuing Authority & Isolating Authority in electronic & paper permit to work systems.After initial HP/free flow operations, I have contributed in an integral role on Cygnus to deliver gas compression to export with hybrid HP/MP operations then into full MP operations supported by a drilling campaign to exploit production potential, longevity of the Cygnus field and support the UK energy needs.
