ABOUT SIDDHARTHA THOTA
Making commerce better with Shopify, for everyone. I am excited about machine learning. Rapid prototyping, curiosity and learning quickly are my strengths. During my MSc in Applied Computing at University of Toronto, I worked as a machine learning engineer intern at ROSS Intelligence. During my tenure there, I built applied ML, backend and frontend components of the service. At Adobe, I built a cloud-based architecture to run and manage algorithms and data pipelines. I worked on a Machine Learning service platform using cloud technologies, sitting with data scientists and algorithm engineers to understand how this platform can suit them. I have also worked on implementing analytical models that enables clients to use their advertising data to make key decisions. I obtained my Bachelor\'s degree from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal majoring in Information Technology. I also contribute to open source projects. I actively develop a mobile app and web platform for a cleaner India in association with the Govt. of Karnataka.
