ABOUT SCOTT STEINBERG
I am a Legal Director in Fox Williams\' intellectual property team. I have advised clients on all types of intellectual property matters including trade marks, passing off, registered and unregistered designs, copyright, and patents, as well as confidential information and domain name disputes. I joined Fox Williams in September 2018 and became a Legal Director in May 2025. I advise clients on both contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters and have been the lead associate on cases brought in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. I have acted for clients in numerous sectors including in technology (I have a particular interest in AI), fashion, publishing and travel. I also advise clients in relation to trade mark and design filings, overcoming registration issues and trade mark oppositions and cancellations. I have been recognised as ‘Recommended – Next Generation’ in the WTR 2026 and as a Rising Star in 2023, 2024 and 2025 on IP Stars, have a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from Oxford University, and I speak Spanish at an advanced level. I regularly gives presentations and presented in Fox Williams’ first podcast.
