Mr. Meronek serves as a Stormwater Lead and Project Manager at SCS Engineers, bringing over 25 years of expertise in Industrial Operational Compliance. He is an SCS Engineers National Stormwater Expert and is currently a State of California Industrial General Permit (IGP) Qualified Industrial Storm Water Practitioner (QISP), QISP Trainer-of-Record (ToR), and Construction General Permit Trainer-of-Record. Mr. Meronek combines an understanding of client operational requirements with a commitment to sustainable, long-term solutions, having developed comprehensive stormwater and industrial compliance management programs for numerous industrial facilities throughout the Western United States. His approach emphasizes the development of cost-effective stormwater management strategies tailored to client needs. Jonathan has delivered National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Spill Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) and Hazardous Materials Compliance Services to state, municipal, and private sector clients across a broad range of industrial fields, including solid waste, metal and scrap recycling, material recovery facilities (MRFs), landfills—including Subchapter N/ELG Facilities—deep ocean ports, transportation facilities, asphalt batch plants, construction material sites, petroleum bulk plants, landfill gas-to-energy operations, quarries, concrete and rebar manufacturing, lumber production, breweries, and wineries. Mr. Meronek routinely provides litigation support under the CWA and has successfully worked with LRPs, Facility managers and Attorneys to comprehensively re-evaluate Facilities for environmental compliance using technology-based BPT/BCT/BAT implementation for control of pollutants in stormwater discharge.
