About Scott Zheng
As a Software Engineer Intern at the Teachers\' Retirement System of the City of New York (TRS), I applied my skills in data structures and algorithms to develop and test software solutions for the pension system. I worked with a team of experienced engineers and learned from their feedback and guidance. I also contributed to the documentation and quality assurance of the software products. Prior to joining TRS, I was a Teacher Assistant at Stony Brook University, where I helped students learn the fundamentals of data structures and algorithms. I also led a coding project as part of the InvenTeam program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I collaborated with other students and mentors to create an innovative device for environmental monitoring. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Stony Brook University, where I have taken courses in programming languages, databases, operating systems, and artificial intelligence. I am passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems. I am also interested in the fields of data science, machine learning, and cybersecurity. My goal is to become a software engineer who can create impactful and reliable software solutions for various domains and industries.
