About Scott Wollek
With over 20 years experience in emergency management and public health emergency preparedness, I leverage my practical and academic experience to help organizations and communities prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. I am passionate about developing creative and boundary-spanning solutions to complex problems in the field of emergency management and health preparedness. I have a master\'s degree in public administration with a concentration in homeland security and emergency management, and have completed many discipline specific trainings in continuity of operations, response planning, exercise and evaluation and special events. I also have over 15 years of teaching experience working with adult leaders, and currently serve as an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University, where I teach a graduate course on health security preparedness. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the improvement of health outcomes and community resilience in the face of disasters and emergencies.
