Serves as the Deputy, 2nd Brigade, U.S. Army Cadet Command, consisting of 42 Senior ROTC battalions and 113 Junior ROTC programs dispersed across the nine Northeast U.S. States, Germany and Italy. Leads a work force of approximately Soldiers, Government Civilians and Contractors, along with SROTC and JROTC Cadets. Commissions approximately 800 Second Lieutenants annually who are ready to serve as Officers and leaders of character in the Army. Supports JROTC programs that instill the values of citizenship, national and community service, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment in thousands of high school students. Leads and directs Cadre that recruit, develop and retain quality SROTC Cadets. Serves as a good steward of Army resources, including a more than annual budget. Plans, coordinates, executes, and supervises programs and operations in support of U.S. Army Cadet Command\'s policies, guidance, and vision.
