About Scott Schofield

Scott has grown up working with his father, Dan Schofield, in the Park City area in many different aspects of the development industry including residential & commercial construction, excavation, surveying, subdivision development, home design, and water company management. Scott started early at the age of 14 working full time doing all types of construction and development work. He built his first home at the age of 18 with a hammer and some weekend guidance from Dad. Scott started Scott Schofield Construction Inc. when he was 25 years old in 1998 and immediately built 10 custom mountain homes in the next several years, he also preformed all of the excavation work on his own projects and slowly turned his company more towards excavation in 2002 and now owns over 30 large machines, dump trucks, with 30+ employees digging all over Summit and Wasatch counties. Scott also grew up helping at the local water company reading and installing meters, monitoring pumps and tank levels and later helped and installed many of the new water lines that now run through the Pinebrook subdivision that benefits from Gorgoza Mutual Water Company. In 2017 Scott was hired by the Board of Directors to become Gorgoza\'s new General Manager and later in 2021 he was unanimously voted in as the new President of Gorgoza Mutual Water Company. Scott has helped oversee many new upgrades in the company and has worked at promoting water conservation and distribution efficiency by integrating new technology and system upgrades. Scott enjoys working to sustain such an important commodity as water for the residents of his favorite childhood neighborhood, Pinebrook. Scott has been married to his Sunday School crush since 1995… Scott and Kelly Schofield have enjoyed raising 4 boys (and one little girl dog named Zoe) in Park City, Preston Idaho, Kamas, Midway and Heber City. They are now expecting their first grandchild in 2024!
