ABOUT SCOTT RAY SALAZAR
My career path has been anything but linear, but looking back I feel as if it has come full circle. Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on working with others, helping them achieve success, however they chose to define it. I have been a student teacher, coach, college recruiter, career counselor, and now, clinical social worker. Currently, I am a clinician at Walker\'s Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT), an acute, short-term stabilization and hospital-diversion program for children ages 3 to 13. I am increasingly drawn toward working with children, who are in crisis or whose social, emotional, behavioral, and safety needs require a higher level of care in order to be successful.
