To deliver a specialist dance show that is a strong representation and a strong influence on the Sunderland dance scene by delivering the right music with the right content to the right audience. • Research, plan produce and present relevant and diverse content/features live in time with clocks & spots• Fully technically operate the studio equipment while presenting the show and at the same time manage social interactions through FB, Twitter, Websites, Co Tweet, Txtmaster & Email systems• Source, research, prepare and execute interviews with high profile and up and coming artists e.g. Roger Sanchez, Chase & Status, Example • Identify opportunities for outside broadcasts, implement them and analyse their success• Source, react to, download and playlist dance music from a broad range of records labels• Create, schedule and manage clocks for the live show and overnight dance programming with use of RCS MC, Selector & Linker• Monitor listenership and listener interaction and execute plans to increase this through online marketing practices pre, during and post shows• Ensure I remain ahead of my audience in terms of dance music & scene knowledge by monitoring forums, artists news and movement and activity of record labels• Use Adobe Audition to produce session audio for links; promo’s and features e.g. pre records, sweepers, trails, vox pops, idents • Fully manage the dance music output across the station by managing and expanding the library
