About Scott Kolassa
I recently joined Applied Materials as a legal resource for its Automation Products Group. As an Intellectual Property partner at Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton, I sought efficient, business-aligned solutions and strategies for my clients, whether in development (prosecution, acquisitions), deals, diligence, licensing, enforcement, and prosecuting claims or defending claims brought by others. In fifteen years of practice, I have consistently found solutions for my clients at the intersection of business, law and technology. My clients and colleagues know me to emphasize efficient solutions-efficient not just for the matter at hand, but in the context of other existing and future matters. I recently completed augmenting my skills with an MBA from the Wharton School. I was named in Super Lawyers in 2017 and 2018 and am admitted in New York and California. I have an extensive background in licensing, litigation, transactions, brand enforcement and protection. On the personal front, I enjoy watching my daughters explore their world with my wife, rock climbing and motorcycles. Contact me at s•••••••@alumni.upenn.edu.
