ABOUT SCOTT BARR

Scott Barr is a Senior Vice President with the Atlanta office of CP Group, the largest private owner of office assets in Georgia and Florida. Scott is responsible for overseeing CP Group\'s portfolio of 8MM+ SF of investments in Atlanta and Charlotte.Prior to joining CP Group, Scott was a Senior Associate with New York Life Real Estate Investors responsible for underwriting commercial real estate investments in the Southeast. Scott was a Senior Associate with Buchanan Street Partners responsible for underwriting joint venture equity investments and asset management of the Southeast portfolio. In addition, his background includes LNR Partners where he was involved in the underwriting and asset management of commercial mortgage-backed securities, and Raymond James Tax Credit Funds where he underwrote institutional equity investments in affordable housing developments. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Florida. He proudly serves on the boards of Central Atlanta Progress, SelectCobb, and the Real Estate Group of Atlanta (REGA). He is a past member of the Morningside-Lenox Park Zoning Committee and served on the ULI Atlanta Management Council. Outside of commercial real estate, he serves on the Board of the Anti-Defamation League Southeast Region, coaches youth sports, and is involved with animal rescue groups.
