Life Flight operates the Westpac Rescue Chopper and two Air Ambulance Planes from its base at Wellington Airport, providing emergency medical services to those in need, transferring patients who are often critically ill, including children and premature babies, to the specialist care they urgently require. Our operations are predominantly across the Central Region, and we fly throughout New Zealand when required.
