ABOUT SCOTT FERGUSON

I am the Chief of Staff for the Vice President of the Life New Business organization. This organization is made up of more than 375 Underwriting, Case Management, and Support Team leaders and associates. As well, I co-chair the Civic Action Program which is a nonpartisan organization at Nationwide with the goal of getting associates politically informed and involved. Prior to my current role, I was a Senior Consultant in the Office of Corporate Strategy supporting areas across the organization including Life Insurance, Annuity, multiple P&C businesses, and additional shared service areas such as Legal, Innovation, Marketing, and the Customer Office. The role consisted of strategic planning and positioning for OCEO members, board material preparation, and ad hoc projects supporting many different leaders throughout the company. I started my career in Nationwide\'s Finance Leadership Rotation Program where I rotated through four different areas of finance to gain a better understanding of the insurance and financial services industry. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in May of 2016.
