I currently work at Reimagine Training as the CTO, helping manufacturers create training. had the chance to talk to a lot of small manufacturers over the last few years. Almost everyone is facing a skill shortage-it\'s incredibly competitive out there, and the people you can find don\'t have any experience. Not even shop class.We thought we could help by creating a better way to teach, so we made a modern app that teaches the way people expect to learn in the tiktok era: short lessons, gamification, etc. The app works great, but then we discovered a deeper problem: manufacturers don\'t have any training written down. And they don\'t have time to make it. So this is where our focus is now: helping mfrs create training for their operations without sinking tons of time into it.As a side gig/hobby, I also make educational videos explaining technology, from electronics to bitcoin, and even a little home repair now. 20m+ views at youtube under curiousinventor & scottdriscoll
