I\'ve written several books on science and technology. My latest book is a collaboration with Drs. John Cryan and Ted Dinan on a book for National Geographic titled \"The Psychobiotic Revolution - Mood, Food, and the New Science of the Gut-Brain Connection\". Psychobiotics are microbes that enhance your mood and can help to heal depression and anxiety. I write the science blogs PsychobioticRevolution.com, ScienceForPeople.com and NotchByNotch.com, which try to explain the science behind some of the breakthroughs coming out of labs around the world. Scientists are the true heroes of our day, pitifully underpaid and underappreciated. My work tries to explain what they are doing in a way that everyone can understand, served up with a dollop of humor.
