Growing up in South Florida, I had the benefit of interacting daily with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, world views and life experiences. It helped shape me as an individual and how I view the world around me. That perspective has built in me a belief that people are inherently good, want to connect with others and find purpose in life. For me and many others, life purpose includes finding a meaningful way to support themselves and their family, and building a better future.I have had the pleasure of working in the areas of workforce and economic development for the State of Florida in both economic policy development and economic policy implementation. I have also been blessed to serve the State of Florida\'s CFO as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer over the financial and treasury functions, ensuring tax dollars are spent appropriately and invested wisely. In all my roles, my vision has been to work with other\'s interest in mind to support economic growth and opportunities for Floridians and Florida businesses. I can honestly say I enjoy coming to work every day, knowing we are working together to build a better future for Florida.
