ABOUT SCOTT BERRY

Experienced Guide, Coach and Nature Therapist and past executive with over 30 years in the corporate and non-profit sectors primary expertise in executive leadership, strategic and business development, communications, stakeholder development and stewardship, marketing and operational process development and management. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Envisioned, built and successfully ran two leading, national corporate communications agencies for 15 years. I served over 300 clients and worked with C-Suite executives in all cases, thereby establishing a very strong network. Identified, attracted and managed over a dozen teams including 2 boards of directors for (Divergent Energy Services (PubCo), Empowering Minds (NFP). Chaired the board of a Calgary based public Energy Services Company through a significant transitional process and turnaround. Revenue grew in the company by over 50%(to $6M) during my role as Chair. Recovered and rebuilt a not-for-profit (Empowering Minds Teen Leadership Development) into a thriving entity serving thousands of youth in Southern Alberta. Coached numerous individuals (executive level primarily) to greater personal and career success. Set up and built a successful branch office for one of Canada’s larger Corporate Communications Firms (Barnes McInerney) assisting many dozens of Alberta based companies in raising their profile. I generated approx.$1.5M in new business annually. Undertook a senior executive role with the World Petroleum Conference (Calgary and responsible for approx. 1200 volunteers during the event.
