Education/mentoring of cath lab clinical staff to enable transition from IR to cardiovascular procedures. Coordination of training environment and development of education program specific to staff members based on their self assessment of current skill set and needs. Development of protocols and operational policies and procedures specific to cardiac cath. Liaison between physicians and staff to ensure high quality environment of care. Coordination of room modifications/enhancements including construction/room security modifications/MacLab install and macro refinements. Preparation for TJC inspection for new service line. Marketing of services through various EMS stations and other external health care providers. Patient/physician satisfaction is extremely high as is quality of care. I am proud to have been a part of the development of this lab.
